McCarron's Piece O' Mind

It what could be described as a "Dream Come True" for me, it appears that my favorite band is due to be finally reformed this spring. Last June Billy Corgan announced the intention to bring The Smashing Pumpkins back together, but we never heard anything else since then.

Well according to a post on a Billy Corgan's MySpace page, he is set to announce officially when the band, The Smashing Pumpkins, will return to the stage. Currently, NME is reporting that the Smashing Pumpkins are set to first play again at the Californian Coachella festival on April 30th, 2006. I'm still waiting to hear when the first Chicago show, at the Metro hopefully, will be.

Also not revealed is the lineup of the band, it's pretty certain that Jimmy Chamberlin will return but the rest are up in the air. Time will tell, until then it's only rumors.
