It's almost time for new Smashing Pumpkins music after many years without it!
According to an official Smashing Pumpkins MySpace blog posting today they will be playing two festivals in Germany in June: Rock am Ring and Rock im Park. Here's part of the announcement from the MySpace blog posting.
OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
The Smashing Pumpkins have made their first official announcement of an appearance in 2007. The band will headline both Rock am Ring (6/2/07) and Rock im Park (6/3/07) Festivals in Germany.
You can purchase tickets starting Saturday January 27th, 2007 through Tickets Per Post
I guess by then we'll know who is actually in the band, but I'm happy no matter who returns as long as Billy and Jimmy are on board. but either way the day the first Chicago tour dates go on sale I'll be in line getting tickets.
