It seems when GM imported the Holden Monaro as a Pontiac GTO they made one big design error, placing too wide of wheels/tires on the car. After many miles being driven on the cars many GTO owners, including me, have had problems with the tires being worn down. Now the issue is finally getting some attention from government agencies.

Yeah, Pontiac and GM are covering the strut problem with a bandaide instead of fixing and recalling. It will cost them too much money. I hate to say it but the GTO's unpopularity (which was its demise) will affect them recalling it cause there are not enough complaints!
